Jardin de Corail - Coral Gardens is a small piece of Paradise directly on the most beautiful snow-white coral beach of Mauritius Island. Bordering a huge maginificient turquoise Lagoon, our property is situated in the private neighbourhood of Pointe d´Esny on the south-east coast, between the cozy little towns of Blue-Bay and Mahébourg.
While walking on the 2 km long beach you will enjoy the magnificent views of the nearby small islands and beautiful mountains.
The Apartments
We have two studios, ALHAMBRA and FREGATE available for rent and both are situated on the top floor of the owner's residence.
The studios have their magnificent views of the lagoon and are very comfortable. They are mostly geared for nature lovers, honeymooners and those looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
There are 3 patios for each studio, one facing the sea, another overlooking the backyard and a third small private patio next to the bathroom.
Alhambra is the one on the top-left, Fregate on the top-right.
Both are air-conditioned with queen size beds & en-suite bathrooms and have fully equipped open kitchenette. We also offer a free WIFI internet connection and there are books and games (scrabble, monopoly, etc…) available for your entertainment.
Both Studios are cleaned every day except for Sundays and public holidays (included in the price). Our cook can also prepare local meals for you for a minimal additional charge.
In association with a local spa, massages can be organised onsite either on your balcony or in front of the sea...
NEW: as from july 8 2017, there is a swimming pool at Jardin de Corail!

Prices are per Apartment/ day (2 persons) and daily room cleaning is included (room cleaning is not offered on sundays & public holidays).

The nearest restaurants / pizzeria are in Pointe d'Esny (700 m) and Blue Bay (1.5 km) and can be reached easily on foot. There are also nice, small restaurants in Mahébourg and the surrounding area, which are about 3 to 5 km away. Public transport to Mahébourg and Blue Bay (bus and taxi) are available right in front of the door the whole day between 7.30 and 18.00. We also have agreements with some restaurants for a free shuttle service (even late at night).

Please note: Jardin de Corail is not suitable for babies and young children as the spirit of the house is to offer peace and tranquillity to all the guests. Children 13+ are welcome but our property is particularly suited to couples.

Pointe d´Esny is an excellent watersport location; it´s a perfect spot for Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, sailing, Catamaran and swimming. Our huge warm azure-blue water lagoon is protected by a closed reef. An Underwater Marine Park for scuba diving and snorkeling is in the vicinity. Even right in front of the property there is a nice patch of corals with lots of multi-coloured fish.
Short transfer from the Airport, Island Excursions, hiking tours and Boat trips to picturesque Ile aux Cerfs can be organized. World renowned Nature Preserve Ile aux Aigrettes - an island-habitat for endangered native mauritian species , is just off our coast. Tasty Restaurants, original mauritian towns with colourful markets & shops are waiting for you.
